Apply for and obtain your South Carolina marriage license before we meet. South Carolina requires at least 24 hours between application and issuance.

Once we confirm availability, we’ll arrange a convenient time and Charleston-area location for your signing. Service is available throughout the greater Charleston area.

We’ll complete your marriage ceremony, I’ll handle the officiant paperwork, and you can leave officially married.

Do we need a South Carolina marriage license before meeting you?

Yes. You must obtain your marriage license before I can perform the marriage. Bring the complete license documents you received from the issuing office.

Does this have to feel like a wedding ceremony?

No. We can keep it simple and focused on completing your marriage. If you would like to exchange a few words or short vows, we can make room for that too.

Will you take care of the marriage license afterward?

Yes. I’ll complete my portion of the paperwork, provide your copy, and return the required copies to the office that issued your license.

Can we bring family or friends?

Absolutely. You can keep the signing private or have a few important people there with you.

Can we choose where the signing takes place?

Yes. We’ll discuss a convenient Charleston-area location when we confirm your plans.

What if we decide we want more of a ceremony?

That’s completely fine. I also offer elopement and custom ceremony options when you want something more personal or ceremonial.
